___Security Enhancements___
Only registered members
can view our members' Personal information after the new security
enhancements have been in place. Although everyone on the net can access
to the website, they can only view usernames and basic information,
cannot contact to our members by personal message or emails. Some
detailed information such as, image gallery, address and contact details
are only visible to members. As the last and most important security
implementation which have been requested by some of the members that are
testing the system , now even the profile pictures are displayed for
Members' Only.
___Functionality___
Private Messaging (NEW)
So far, all users are able to send private messages to any
member via the menu system on the top of each user's profile. We are
currently working on enabling a "PM Me" box on user profile that all
members will be able to send private messages to any member when they
view user profile without having to go through all menu clicks.
SMS (NEW) We are looking into
the solution and implementation that all of our members can send each
other SMS messages from Excel Friends website. The sent SMS messages
will be delivered to recipient's mobile phone number as well as
displayed in Excel Friends Message Center (which will contain Email,
Private Messages and SMS messages sorted in Inbox and Sent items folders
all sorted when the implementation is complete)
Invite Friends (New-*Enhanced)
After all our intense tests on the Invite Friends function, our test
team found it was difficult to keep tracks on Invited and joined friends
of them, also the information of the invited people was disclosed to
public. With all the feedback received during the test period we now
powered a new Invitation system using one of the latest web technologies
(AJAX), completely integrated into our friends database and cleared the
fault that when invited friend Joins to the system, it required manual
activation by Administration Team . Now the Registration process is
coming near perfect state without any pains or wrong username and
password prompts. Each steps of the member registration sends automated
emails with clear instructions to the new member. Once again, thanks to
some of our members who have contributed their time and efforts and
positive feedbacks that outlined the registration process.
XL Music Store
(NEW) This section is powered and
having our test drive via Excel Friends Website, which will power a
downloadable music (and ringtones) that each of you can listen to
clips, purchase the tunes already submitted by musicians and bands
themselves. We are proud to provide the music that are not currently on
shelves of massive music stores however could be purchased by our
members by a single mouse click track by track.

his music career with this single again and would like to mention his

Any musicians and band members are invited to
submit their tracks into XL Music Store by contacting us. Proceedings
from downloadable music sales will be channelled towards future
development of Excel Friends. Our Administration Team currently taking
care of each purchases made via our community site and distribute the
revenue to the owners in monthly basis.( this
functionality is available for premium members only)
It is also in development
plans to power another section to enable all artists to list their items
on Excel Friends and make them visible to our community. (Downloadable
postcard prints, framed paintings or crafts to be purchased online) Both
sections will work in full integration with member profiles soon.

Flight Search and Holiday Planner
(Coming Soon) We are currently negotiating with several
service providers that will enable us to power a new section in Excel
Friends that would enable all our members to search for Flight tickets,
plan their well deserved holidays and book hotels withouth having to
leave the website. Soon as these negotiations result positively, we will
enable the section and come up with Exclusive offers to our members.

Recipes: We have added a recipe management system and some of
our members performing functionality tests, When it is finalized, we
will assign some menmbers administration function to the utility. If
cooking is one of your hobbies and would like to add recipe's into the
system, please let us know.
So far we have used the
recipe system as a Humour and Jokes Zone by placing couple of brilliant
recipes received from our members, and this was all done by receiving
those in emails to

An addition to all other functions that Standard members are able to

Excel Friends. The link also will be displayed in Member Profile and
accessible with a single mouse click on the link. Whether you joined to
the site personal or business reasons, Excel Friends Micro Sites will be
the best tool for your web presence. As a start-up offer, we will also
place the Member sites into the personal and business directory on

Whilst we are powering this
website with our own resources, we are aware that it will require
long-term non-stop development to bring the site into "Excellent"
condition. Considering the amount of work to be done, and cost of web
resources to power the site, it is a very hard task undertaken by the
site creators to maintain and provide all the services to our members
for totally FREE. We are currently
looking for sponsors for paid advertisements,
and raising funds with our Premium Membership
alongside the partnerships and affiliations with following providers (in
alphabetic order).
We have powered a
Donations Module on the site which can
be found on the left site navigation, please use this functionality to
donate any amount towards the development.
